We seek fiction, non-fiction, essay collections, short story collections, novellas, and memoirs that are unique, compelling, and well-written. Both agented and non-agented manuscripts receive full consideration. We do not accept erotica, poetry, kids, crime, fantasy, romance, sci-fi, horror, young adult, anything with a dragon or a vampire, current events and politics, religious/spiritual, guide books, cookbooks. For book-length titles we prefer manuscripts to be over 30,000 words. For short story collections, we ask you to ensure that the majority of the work is unpublished and provide publication details for those that have been. Only completed manuscripts will be considered: please do not send proposals or fragments.
We aim to respond to submissions within six months. Please be patient with us if we run behind.
Submission requirements:
- Manuscript file with numbered pages.
- Separate one-page synopsis.
- A brief biography of the author.
Accepted file formats: .docx, .odt, .rtf, .txt, .pdf.
Simultaneous submissions are encouraged; if your work is accepted elsewhere while we’re considering it, congratulations and please let us know.
